Initial Outcomes from Public-Private Secondments for SupTech Innovation Highlighted

Digital Transformation Solutions is proud to see early outcomes from the Public-Private Secondments for SupTech Innovation (PPSSI) initiative featured in a recent World Economic Forum blog highlighting how financial regulators are using technology to strengthen consumer protection and financial system resilience. The PPSSI initiative, co-led by the Cambridge SupTech Lab and the World Economic Forum, pairs private-sector experts with financial supervisors to accelerate practical suptech projects. Among the showcased outcomes are AI-driven tools to streamline the processing and structuring of consumer complaints at a central bank in the Middle East, and a strategic suptech roadmap developed with FRC Mongolia to improve supervisory workflows and data quality. These early projects demonstrate how targeted secondments can help resource-constrained authorities adopt innovative technologies, enhancing oversight effectiveness and fostering more proactive financial supervision. As suptech adoption expands globally, these efforts underscore the value of cross-sector collaboration in modernizing supervisory practices and driving sustainable improvements in financial oversight.
