Innovation Leaders Residency 2025
Teenoosha Boyjoo is one of the 12 members of the 2025 cohort of the Innovation Leaders Residency.
Teenoosha is the Acting Manager of the AML/CFT Directorate at the Financial Services Commission Mauritius, and is dedicated to amplifying Mauritius as a leader in regulatory innovation. Teenoosha brings 17 years of experience in financial regulation and supervision, with notable achievements in leading Mauritius’s successful removal from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Grey List. As Chairperson of the Mauritius Finance/FSC Committee, she is actively advancing the national AML/CFT agenda. Her leadership also played a key role in Mauritius’s impressive rise in the Global Financial Centre Index and Fintech Index.
During her Residency, she Teenoosha is working on researching AI-powered regulatory suptech solutions to report AML/CFT compliance data from financial institutions, addressing challenges of data accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory burden.
Over the course of the Residency year, Innovation Leaders gain online support for the enhancement of their skills and competencies, and assistance in taking their projects to the next level, whether they are focusing on implementing the digital transformation of their business unit or on driving the development of a cutting-edge suptech application.
