Liezl Neethling, Policy and Regulatory Lead

Liezl Neethling is one of the 11 members of the 2024 cohort of the Innovation Leaders Residency.

Liezl joined the Residency as Divisional Head, Credit Risk at the South African Reserve Bank. During the Residency year, Liezl was promoted to Policy and Regulatory Lead. Liezl was one of the product owners with the Prudential Authority Transformation Programme charged with ensuring business involvement in implementing suptech solutions. During the Residency year, Liezl was building the knowledge base for an internal chatbot to aid onboarding and queries by supervisors as the Prudential Authority continues its transformation.

Over the course of the Residency year, Innovation Leaders gain online support for the enhancement of their skills and competencies, and assistance in taking their projects to the next level, whether they are focusing on implementing the digital transformation of their business unit or on driving the development of a cutting-edge suptech application.
