Innovation Leaders Residency 2025
Kris Wright is one of the 12 members of the 2025 cohort of the Innovation Leaders Residency.
As Product Strategist and Lead in the Forward Lab at the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), Kris transforms ideas into strategic prototypes and action plans. With two decades of experience at the financial intelligence unit, Kris has built AI and large language models to boost staff efficiency and enhance operations, and introduced big data solutions for network resolution and risk scoring.
During his Residency, Kris is working on pioneering a secure, real-time information access system, to transform how the agency collaborates with regime partners. The project will include a comprehensive blueprint to accelerate analytical processes through an innovative suptech solution while steadfastly respecting the agency's arm's length mandate and legislation on privacy rights.
Over the course of the Residency year, Innovation Leaders gain online support for the enhancement of their skills and competencies, and assistance in taking their projects to the next level, whether they are focusing on implementing the digital transformation of their business unit or on driving the development of a cutting-edge suptech application.
