Innovation Leaders Residency 2025
Joe van der Lith is one of the 12 members of the 2025 cohort of the Innovation Leaders Residency.
With expertise as both a regulatory attorney and a certified software developer, Joe is a Regulatory Specialist at the FSCA South Africa. Joe is currently completing his doctorate in FinTech Law and serves on various intergovernmental groups, including as Deputy Chair of the Crypto Asset Regulatory Working Group, comprising members from various regulatory authorities in South Africa. During the Residency, Joe is developing an AI-powered complaints management system drawing data from various complaint sources and expressions of dissatisfaction through sentiment analysis.
Over the course of the Residency year, Innovation Leaders gain online support for the enhancement of their skills and competencies, and assistance in taking their projects to the next level, whether they are focusing on implementing the digital transformation of their business unit or on driving the development of a cutting-edge suptech application.
