Emmanual Kpikpi is one of the 12 members of the 2025 cohort of the Innovation Leaders Residency.

Emmanuel is a Solution Architect in the Fintech and Innovation Office at the Bank of Ghana, where he has led transformative projects such as the development of Ghana’s first AI-powered chatbot for financial complaint management. His work on the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) pilot and blockchain-based trade solutions for MSMEs has positioned him as a leader in financial innovation.

During his Residency, Emmanuel will research the use of digital assets in Ghana and the West African Sub-region, with particular focus on the participation of mobile money operators in the termination of crypto transactions.

Over the course of the Residency year, Innovation Leaders gain online support for the enhancement of their skills and competencies, and assistance in taking their projects to the next level, whether they are focusing on implementing the digital transformation of their business unit or on driving the development of a cutting-edge suptech application.
